Best makeup and skin care used in 2013 and beauty resolutions

Best makeup and skin care products I used in 2013 and New Year Resolutions
I'm back! I loved the trip and will share some interesting photographs once I muster up the energy to unpack and get my camera out. I hope everyone is having a blast on New Year's Eve. I'm going to spend tonight and most of tomorrow sleeping off the flight-fatigue - they kept serving meals at unearthly hours and at least a dozen people snored and/or were dyspeptic. Argh!
Moving to more pleasant subjects, to celebrate the New Year, My Beauty Junction now has a YouTube video channel here - please do subscribe if you like what you see.

Here are my favourite makeup and skin and hair care products for 2013, and my beauty resolutions for 2014.

While writing remains my first love, I will be posting videos three or four times a month. Here are the first videos - on the best makeup and skin care products I discovered in 2013. You can hit play right here and view them on my blog. Being my first attempts, these are only slideshows, but I will move on to actual videos for hauls, favourites and empties - with the detailed write-up as usual, though. Please do share feedback and feel free to tell me if videos are not my thing. I much prefer writing.

And now for my beauty resolutions for 2014:

  1. I promise to get at least eight hours' continuous sleep in the night at least four times a week. Failure to comply will result in severe penalties such as enforced or extended shopping bans or cutting out on treats.
  2. Apart from beauty boxes and a Korean haul to stock up, I will be on a strict, no-compromise shopping ban from tomorrow for 60 days.
  3. I will moisturise all over at least once a day, unless I have the 'flu or something.
  4. I will seriously attempt to improve my posture and to not squint while reading in poor light read in poor light. I will also take regular breaks from the computer.
  5. Fine. I'll try blush. But I'm sticking to dusty rose for my lips!
  6. I'll use kohl, liner or dark shadow on the lower lash line for every other EOTD.
Six resolutions ought to be enough - I'll be happy if I can keep #1, #2 and #4. Blogging-wise, I hope to hit 1,000+ followers on GFC and/or Bloglovin', and 500+ on Facebook, Twitter and Google+, and increase my pageviews to 1,500-2,000 a day. What are your beauty resolutions for 2014?
Once again, I wish you all a great evening and a fabulous New Year ahead!

    1. Thank you for your wishes! I hope you're able to manage that. I gave up on that resolution so long ago that I don't even consider including it now.
